Mama’s Time Out (MTO) is an in-person gathering for moms* who want to connect and grow by learning and discussing important topics that shape us as moms.
Each MTO incorporates a workshop (learning), group discussions (connection), and experiential exercises (growth) to help you navigate the ups and downs of this wild ride we call motherhood.
Come join us to enjoy an uninterrupted hot beverage, meet new mom friends, and learn strategies to help you show up as your best self.
Managing Your Emotions in Motherhood
Workshop & Breathwork
Motherhood is a unique journey that brings with it complex – and sometimes competing – emotions. Love and joy coexist with anger, overwhelm and feeling lost. Yet most of us haven’t been taught how to navigate these big emotions, so instead, we hold on to them. Eventually, we hit our breaking point and either lash out, burn out or get sick.
At this Mama's Time Out, we will explore the purpose of emotions, how they can serve you, and how to process and respond to big emotions in a healthy way. I will then guide you through a breathwork session to help you release any pent-up emotions so you can feel more peace & calm.
You will walk away feeling lighter & recharged after taking some much-needed time for yourself and leave with practical tools to help you better cope with big emotions moving forward.

- Mama’s Time Out is open to anyone who identifies as a “mother.” This includes members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, as well as anyone who has become a mother through adoption, foster care, marriage, birth or other.
